Practical Experience

Acquisitions and Dispositions. Handled the formation of business entity that acquired equine assets for what became one of the largest thoroughbred racing and breeding operations in Central Kentucky.

Development. Successfully represented the first developer in Central Kentucky to convert residential apartment project to condominium ownership and sell out the units in weeks after conversion.

Finance. Represents a wide variety of financial institutions and institutional lenders in connection with regulatory matters, debt transactions, permanent and construction financing and equine project financing.

Leasing. Negotiates and drafts office, retail, and agricultural leases.

Creditors’ Rights. Represents secured creditors of insolvent entities to restructure debt, resolve debt, and liquidate collateral by negotiation and through bankruptcy proceedings. Assisted persons and entities experiencing financial problems to restructure and resolve debt and claims.
