Defense Verdict in Fayette County Medical Malpractice Trial

Kinkead & Stilz is pleased to announce that Melanie S. Marrs and Tonya S. Rager were successful in obtaining a Defense Verdict on behalf of a Hospital and its nurses in Fayette County in a case involving claimed permanent peroneal nerve injury, causing foot drop, following open heart surgery. Plaintiff claimed an injury of unknown source from the surgery, perhaps positioning, perhaps during recovery. The jury did not believe the claim and exonerated the surgical group as well as the hospital’s nurses. Great work by Melanie and Tonya in defense of Kentucky’s medical community.
