Practical Experience
Emergency Trial Counsel. Served as emergency trial counsel on multi-plaintiff malicious prosecution taking over 60-days before trial for a matter that was ongoing for almost a decade. Able to resolve matter prior to trial, for less than the original plaintiff demand.
Commercial Defect Litigation. Represented general contractor in commercial defect litigation where damages exceeded $20 million. Upon taking over case from prior counsel, resolved matter within policy limits and obtained complete release for client.
Oversight Counsel. Served as oversight counsel in a fatal overdose and failure to provide adequate treatment claim against a large county jail. Obtained summary judgment exonerating the County. Served as oversight counsel in national matter featured in the New York Times and resolved for client under policy limits with complete release.
